APPOINTMENT POLICY

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

In the case where no appointment availability exists we do offer drop-off appointments. A drop-off appointment is where you bring your pet into the hospital and leave them with us until such a time that we are able to examine them. Usually we will ask you to drop off as soon as possible so our doctors can examine/assess your pet in between appointments or at any other available time that may come up. Once the doctor has examined your pet they will then contact you by phone to share their findings and work with you to determine a treatment plan. 

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all patients receiving elective procedures be up to date on their core vaccinations. 

PAYMENT POLICY

West Prince Veterinary Hospital requires full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, American Express and cash. If needed/requested, we can help you apply for veterinary care financing through LendCare

PATIENT ARRIVAL POLICY

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to ensure you have control of your pet at all times while in the hospital. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the building.
