Radiology & Ultrasound

Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography and abdominal ultrasound equipment that can show the veterinarian evidence of disease. Radiographs can show abnormalities in vital organs such as the heart and liver, as well as the bones. Dental radiography enables us to identify diseased teeth below the gum line, and ultrasound provides an even more detailed view of the internal abdominal structures. Radiographs and ultrasound are usually employed when an animal has an illness, but they are also an effective way to screen for problems in older pets.
