Dr. Priscilla Ellis

Dr. Ellis and her husband, Dana, have been the co-owners of West Prince Veterinary Hospital since December of 2008. Having both been raised in western PEI, Priscilla and Dana decided West Prince was the best place to raise a family. They now have two adult sons and also have two kitties of their own at home.


Dr. Mavis Poirier

Dr. Poirier has been with us since July 2018. Mavis graduated in 2012 and worked in Ontario and New Brunswick before coming back home to the Island. She has a special interest in exotics and equine practice and has additional training in performing ACL repairs. Mavis has 2 dogs, 3 horses and 3 kitties at home.


Dr. William Wade Sweet

Dr. Sweet was born and raised in O'Leary, PEI. He has been involved in the clinic as either a volunteer or employee since 1998, and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2008.  Dr. Sweet has been an active volunteer in both his profession and local community. He and his wife have a horse, two dogs and three cats.





Charlene Carragher

Charlene is a valued team member and always willing to help wherever needed. She has a positive attitude and has a smile for anyone who walks in the door. Charlene has two children and a dog at home.


Krystle Gillis Bulger

Krystle is very enthusiastic and is a great asset to our team.  She always goes above and beyond to ensure that everything gets done properly and on time. Krystle has a daughter and two cats at home.








Amanda Harper

Amanda is a graduate of Oulton College. She is always ready to take anything on and never backs down from a challenging situation. Amanda enjoys seeing all of your adorable pets come in the door, and has a particular fondness for dogs.  She has 7 of her own at home!


Selina Lowther

Quinn Chaisson

Having worked in a vet clinic since the age of 14, performing various roles, Quinn has much experience in all areas of the veterinary clinic setting. She has such a positive attitude and is proving to be an invaluable part of the team. Quinn has recently moved to the Island with her family and her two Frenchies. 

Marley Sellick

Marley has been enjoying learning new skills and building on old ones learned during her veterinary assistant training.
